About the apartment on József boulevard

Apartment is situated on elegant and lively József boulevard and close to all gay places in the downtown Pest. The building is historical monument building, built at the end of 19th century with nice balcony and view on the street.
The address is József körút 67, VIII district.

It is fully gay operated and opened throughout the year. Our agency will provide you with the answers to all your questions and inquiries concerning general and gay related issues in Budapest. We are always reachable by mobile phone for the assistance.
The apartment is located on the first floor of newly renovated building, with elevator and interphone system. The apartment is about 50 sqm in size with 2 rooms with separate entrances, bathroom, kitchen and hall. Apartment has 8 sqm nice and representative balcony on the front of the building. The ceiling of the bigger room is decorated with very nice 19th century decorative plaster. Besides new beds in all rooms, all other furniture is antique and very rare.
Apartment is equipped with TV set, laptop with wireless internet access. Kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, micro-wave, dish washer, coffee maker, and self catering. Bathroom has cabin with massage shower, sink and washing-drying machine.
Towels, blankets and sheets are provided. At check-in you can obtain information where to buy tickets for public transportation. Free printed city and gay maps, and other tourist brochures are available upon your arrival.

Distance from gay places

Magnum gay sauna is 50 meters away from the apartment. Coxx gay bar and Smile cafe are one tram stop away or 10 minutes by foot.

Airport

Our agency has long cooperation with distinguished and reliable partner - Budapest taxi Company which can bring you to the desired apartment for discount prices. Not to mention that you can save you time and money with them. We could warmly recommend you to take their service because of the security reasons. In case you leave/forgot something in a cab or have other problems, we know in any time who is the cab driver and the number of his vehicle. Please be aware that we do not guaranty the standard price in case you select other taxi company and they overcharged your fare.
If you decide to use Budapest taxi service call please your travel agent (Nenad) and the taxi will be ordered for you in a few minutes. You can request the taxi in advance through your emails but also upon your arrival, in a text message to Nenad. You can also call Nenad on his mobile phone +36306852643 or if you call from Hungary 06306852643, send him please the name of terminals (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2A or 2B). Once Nenad is notified about your taxi request, please go to the information desk at the arrivals section of the airport and wait for your taxi driver. The driver will come in 5-15 minutes with your name written on the paper board.
Please note that the price is fixed! From the airport Budapest taxi will charge you 6000 HUF or 26 euros with maximum of 20 minutes for waiting. Please wait on the information desk, and don’t go from there, because if the taxi driver is waiting for you more then 20 minutes you will be extra charged. The price from the apartment to the airport is 5000 HUF or 22 euros. These prices are valid from 10th October 2008. This is a special discount for our costumers!

This price is the same for one, two, three or 4 people!

If you don't want to use our partner taxi service you can select between other taxi companies, airport's Minibus or public transportation. If you prefer public transportation, please take bus # 200 from the last stop to the metro terminal. From there you can use blue metro line to the city center.

Train Stations

If you arrive to Budapest by train to one of 3 major train stations and want to use Budapest taxi services please call us or text message us immediately upon your arrival in Budapest, (from Hungary 06306852643 or from aboard +36306852643), and we will order taxi for you for discount price for our costumers.
If you don't want to use the taxi, please relay on public transportation. There are 3 different train stations in Budapest: Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South).
If you arrive at Nyugati train station take trams # 4 or # 6 to the Ferenc körút tram stop.
If you arrive at Keleti train station take one metro stop with the red metro line to Blaha Lujza metro stop. From there take trams # 4 or #6 to Ferenc körút tram stop.
If you arrive at Deli train station take the red metro line to Blaha Lujza square and from there trams # 4 or # 6 to Ferenc körút stop.

Change Rates & Payment

Please note that you need to make the reservation of your gay accommodation well in advance. Check-in is only by agreement made through the email communication. No credit cards are acceptable. You are requested to pay in cash immediately upon your arrival into the apartment! Please prepare the payment in EUR as we accept Hungarian Forints also. If you pay in Hungarian Forints, we charge you according to the exchange rates that are published on the day of your arrival from this web site: http://www.xe.com/ucc/. There are a lot of ATM machines where you can obtain Hungarian Forints using major credit/debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro etc.

Reservation

We will send a written confirmation of your booking request as soon as possible, but definitively within 24 hours. Please wait for our reply and do not request reservations elsewhere so that we avoid double reservations at two or more different agencies. If your desired apartment has been already booked or occupied by somebody else, we will provide you with the information when it will be free and offer you a substitute apartment within the same price category.
