the Royal Gay Guesthouse
ROYAL Gay Guesthouse is situated close to the
József Körút Boulevard at Pest side, VIII district,
and conveniently located near downtown area
with plenty of Gay friendly bars and clubs.
It is just few minutes by walk from metro station
Ferenc körút.
Its gay owned and gay operated and we take the
time to answer all your general and gay related
questions about Budapest. Open all year, check-in
on agreement. The staff is fluent English, Serbo-Croatian
and Hungarian speaking, German, Italian, Slovenian
and Russian basic knowledge and always reachable
by mobile phone for assistance.
We offer you 5 rooms in 2 apartments, every
150 sqm, 300 sqm both. First apartment has 2
bedrooms with double beds for sleeping, 2 living
rooms, kitchen, bathroom and dining room. Second
apartment has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room
and dining room. In second apartment we have
one room with 2 single beds, one room with 3
single beds and 1 room with double bed. Living
room has radio with CD and DVD player and TV.
Towels, blankets and sheets etc. are there.
Keys are available for every guest. At check-in
you can get info where to buy tickets for public
transport and phone cards. Intercom system
is at front door. Free printed gay map, map
of town and tourist brochures we are giving
you after your arrival.
There is 1 elevator. The guesthouse is very
bright, sunny, windows are on the street side
of the building. Kitchens are provided with
wave, fridge, electric stove, coffee maker,
self catering. Bathrooms have bathing tub with
shower and sink. Central heating and unlimited
hot water are available too. Gay guesthouse
has ironing facilities and wash machine
(free). Close to a supermarket.

Directions
Gay guesthouse is very easy accessible, it is
near by metro station Ferenc körút,
blue metro line M3. Kisfaludy street is the
next parallel street with József körút
boulevard. Also you can use also tram 4 or 6
to the Ferenc körút station. During
the night you can use night buses to the station
Ferenc körút.

Distance from gay places
From the Magnum sauna we are few minutes by
walk, from discotheque Alibi also 2 minutes
by walk from bar Action 1 metro stop or 10 minutes
by walk, from bar CoXX 2 tram stops or 15 minutes
by walk.
Airport
We have our partner taxi service company to
save you time and money.
This is a taxi service for our customers who
have decided to stay at one of our apartments.
Also is not the problem to use this service
who will stay in any other place in Budapest.
The cost of the transfer is a low 5000 HUF (20
EURO) from the airport. Return to the airport
is also 5000 HUF (20 EURO). This is special
discount for our costumers!
This cost is the total for one, two, or three
people!
After arriving on the airport give us the call
from Hungary 06306852643 or from aboard +36306852643
and we will order taxi for you. We will give
special code and your name and taxi will take
you with discount price. Taxi will be in 15
minutes on the airport in front of the main
entrance to waiting for you with your name on
the table. Please see logo of our partner taxi
company to easier recognize the taxi.
If you don't want our service you can to choose
between Taxi, Minibus or Public transport. Minibus
will take you for 4500 Forints per person (approximately
18 Euro) from the airport to every address in
the center of Budapest. Airport taxi price is
about 5500 Forints (22 Euro) It takes about
35 minutes, as the airport is in the outskirts.
Minibus desk you will find after you've passed
the custom and taxi in front of the main entrance
on the airport. Seat reservation is not necessary
for mini bus before arrival at the airport.
If you want to using public transport take bus
200 to the last stop. From there you can to
use blue metro line to the city center.
Train Stations
If you arriving on train
station and want to use our taxi service please
call us after arriving in Budapest, from Hungary

we will order taxi for you for special discount
price for our costumers. If you don't want to
use the taxi use public service.
There are 3 different train stations in Budapest:
Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South).
If you arrive at Nyugati station take the 4
or 6 tram to the Ferenc körút station,
go out to the side where is the Corvine cinema
and turn into the Kisfaludy street.
If you arrive at Keleti or Deli station take
the red metro line till Blaha Lujza tér
station and from there tram 4 or 6 to the Ferenc
körút station.
Parking
Usually is not problem to find a parking space
on the street, front of the building. No parking
fees in this area. Near by the guesthouse, in
the beginning of Prater street you will find
also a 24 hours guarded parking. The fee is
1000 HUF (approximately 4 euro), or 1 week 4500
HUF (approximately 18 euro). Reservations are
not needed.
Change Rates & Payment
You need to make reservations in advance. Check-in
only on agreement. No credit cards. If possible
please prepare payment in EUR. Hungarian Forints
HUF is accepted too. We use the change rates
that are published on the day of your arrival
at the web site: http://www.xe.com/ucc/.
There is a lot of ATM where you can get Hungarian
Forints using major cards like Visa, Mastercard,
and Maestro etc.
