Arriving at Budapest Airport (Budapest Ferihegy)
If stopping a taxi on the street, ask what would be the price to your desired destination. Once you agree on the price enter into the taxi. Also some taxi drivers operate by using taxy meters which charge you per kilometer. Please check that the taxi meter is switched on.
The best of all is to call taxi by phone because most of the taxi companies charge lower rates in that case.

If you decide to use Budapest taxi service call please your travel agent (Nenad) and the taxi will be ordered for you in a few minutes. You can request the taxi in advance through your emails but also upon your arrival, in a text message to Nenad. You can also call Nenad on his mobile phone +36306852643 or if you call from Hungary 06306852643, send him please the name of terminals (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2A or 2B). Once Nenad is notified about your taxi request, please go to the information desk at the arrivals section of the airport and wait for your taxi driver. The driver will come in 5-15 minutes with your name written on the paper board.
Please note that the price is fixed! From the airport Budapest taxi will charge you 6000 HUF or 26 euros with maximum of 20 minutes for waiting. Please wait on the information desk, and don't go from there, because if the taxi driver is waiting for you more then 20 minutes you will be extra charged. The price from the apartment to the airport is 5000 HUF or 22 euros. These prices are valid from 10th October 2008. This is a special discount for our costumers!
