About the apartment on Teréz boulevard

Apartment is situated on Teréz boulevard, very close to Oktogon metro stop. It is in the heart of city center, close to gay bars and discos.
The address is Teréz körút 7, VI district.
It is fully gay operated and opened throughout the year. Our agency will provide you with the answers to all your questions and inquiries concerning general and gay related issues in Budapest. We are always reachable by mobile phone for the assistance.
The apartment is on the 1st floor of the historic and reconstructed building with an elevator and interphone system. It is about 100 sqm in size with 5 rooms, kitchen, bathroom and a toilet.
Kitchen is equipped with fridge, stove, coffee maker, and self catering. All together there are 7 double beds in the flat. Bathroom has bathing tub with shower, sink and washing machine.
Towels, blankets and sheets are provided. At check-in you can obtain information where to buy tickets for public transportation. Free printed city and gay maps, and other tourist brochures are available upon your arrival.

AlterEgo gay disco club is few minutes away from the apartment. Magnum gay sauna is a few tram stops using trams # 4 or # 6.

Airport

Our agency has long cooperation with distinguished and reliable partner - Budapest taxi Company which can bring you to the desired apartment for discount prices. Not to mention that you can save you time and money with them. We could warmly recommend you to take their service because of the security reasons. In case you leave/forgot something in a cab or have other problems, we know in any time who is the cab driver and the number of his vehicle. Please be aware that we do not guaranty the standard price in case you select other taxi company and they overcharged your fare.
If you decide to use Budapest taxi service call please your travel agent (Nenad) and the taxi will be ordered for you in a few minutes. You can request the taxi in advance through your emails but also upon your arrival, in a text message to Nenad. You can also call Nenad on his mobile phone +36306852643 or if you call from Hungary 06306852643, send him please the name of terminals (Terminal 1 or Terminal 2A or 2B). Once Nenad is notified about your taxi request, please go to the information desk at the arrivals section of the airport and wait for your taxi driver. The driver will come in 5-15 minutes with your name written on the paper board.
Please note that the price is fixed! From the airport Budapest taxi will charge you 6000 HUF or 26 euros with maximum of 20 minutes for waiting. Please wait on the information desk, and don’t go from there, because if the taxi driver is waiting for you more then 20 minutes you will be extra charged. The price from the apartment to the airport is 5000 HUF or 22 euros. These prices are valid from 10th October 2008. This is a special discount for our costumers!

This price is the same for one, two, three or 4 people!

If you don't want to use our partner taxi service you can select between other taxi companies, airport's Minibus or public transportation. If you prefer public transportation, please take bus # 200 from the last stop to the metro terminal. From there you can use blue metro line to the city center.

Train Stations

If you arrive to Budapest by train to one of 3 major train stations and want to use Budapest taxi services please call us or text message us immediately upon your arrival in Budapest, (from Hungary 06306852643 or from aboard +36306852643), and we will order taxi for you for discount price for our costumers.
If you don't want to use the taxi, please relay on public transportation. There are 3 different train stations in Budapest: Keleti (East), Nyugati (West) and Deli (South).
If you arrive at Nyugati train station take 1 stop with trams # 4 or # 6 to Oktogon.
If you arrive at Keleti train station take red metro line to Deák square metro stop and there switch to yellow metro. Get of at Oktogon stop.
If you arrive at Deli train station take red metro line to Deák square metro stop and there switch to yellow metro. Get of at Oktogon stop.

Parking

Usually there is no problem to find free parking space in Szofia street. Also you can find 24 hours guarded parking garage near by Oktogon.

Change Rates & Payment

Please note that you need to make the reservation of your gay accommodation well in advance. Check-in is only by agreement made through the email communication. No credit cards are acceptable. You are requested to pay in cash immediately upon your arrival into the apartment! Please prepare the payment in EUR as we accept Hungarian Forints also. If you pay in Hungarian Forints, we charge you according to the exchange rates that are published on the day of your arrival from this web site: http://www.xe.com/ucc/. There are a lot of ATM machines where you can obtain Hungarian Forints using major credit/debit cards such as Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro etc.

Reservation

We will send a written confirmation of your booking request as soon as possible, but definitively within 24 hours. Please wait for our reply and do not request reservations elsewhere so that we avoid double reservations at two or more different agencies. If your desired apartment has been already booked or occupied by somebody else, we will provide you with the information when it will be free and offer you a substitute apartment within the same price category.
